RCS Sport: audit with external company launched as a result of elements arising from administrative controls

Milan, 27 September 2013 – Following several administrative controls recently implemented by the Administration, Finance, Management Control and Legal Affairs Division of the Parent Company RCS MediaGroup S.p.A., with the support of the Internal Auditing department, the Board of Directors' meeting of subsidiary RCS Sport S.p.A. was called today. This meeting decided to promptly grant an assignment to an external company to launch an audit to carry out suitable additional analyses concerning the nature of several banking transactions conducted with associations related to RCS Sport but not consolidated within the Group. These analyses will also assess the amount of any damages incurred by the Company.

The Board of Directors of RCS Sport S.p.A. then co-opted Riccardo Taranto, Group CFO, appointing him Chief Executive Officer.
