RCS MediaGroup: Extension agreed to April 12, 2007 from March 31, 2007 of the period for the settlement terms for the purchase of the Recoletos Group

Milan, March 30, 2007 – RCS MediaGroup, updating the information already communicated on February 7, 2007 and March 16, 2007 relating to the offer for the purchase of the entire share capital of Recoletos Grupo de Comunicaciòn, announces that, to permit the completion of the activities relating to the acquisition, an agreement was made for the extension to April 12, 2007 from March 31, 2007 of the period to reach, following exclusive negotiations, the settlement of the relative contractual terms.

In addition, in accordance with applicable regulations, the notifications were presented to the Antitrust authorities to obtain the necessary authorisations for the operation.
