RCS MediaGroup completes acquisition of 49% stake in Digicast S.p.A.

Milan, 15 April 2008 – Concerning the announcement of 7 February 2008, RCS MediaGroup informs that it has completed the acquisition from the only minority shareholder Digifin S.p.A. of 49% stake in Digicast S.p.A. (already held directly for the remaining 51%) for EUR 16.2 million. This deal is part of the Group’s strategic development in satellite and digital television markets. Digicast S.p.A. publishes four theme channels distributed in Italy by means of the Sky platform: Y&S (channel 214), Jimmy (channel 140), Caccia e Pesca (channel 235) and MotoTV (channel 237). At an international level, Digicast operates Sailing Channel International, visible throughout Europe on over fifty pay-to-view platforms.
