With the launch of Corriere del Mezzogiorno in 1997, Corriere della Sera began a process of strengthening its presence across many Italian regions, helping to create local editions offered free of charge together with the main newspaper. The system of local titles—now widespread and further enhanced by digital platforms—covers a large part of the national territory, with these publications playing a leading role in cultural initiatives and events.
On the twentieth anniversary of the first local supplement, the RCS MediaGroup celebrated with the launch of the significant *Corriere Torino* supplement, available on newsstands starting from November 2017.
Today, there are 16 local editions of Corriere della Sera, each with its own editorial team, dedicated pagination, and website. All are highly active and deeply engaged with their local communities, to the extent of generating new successful projects—such as, for example, *CI – Corriere Innovazione*, a multimedia initiative developed by the northeastern editions, which includes a monthly magazine, a website, and a series of themed events across the region.
